Newton's Fire & Safety Equipment, Inc., along with being and MSA Authorized Fire Service
Distributor, is also an MSA Authorized Air-Mask Maintenance Center. We employee four Level
III/C.A.R.E. maintenance and repair technicians allowing us to provide our customers with
prompt service and perform the highest level of SCBA maintenance and repair on MSA Air-Masks.
We provide in-house and on-site (field) repair and maintenance for our entire Authorized
Distributor territory, which includes the states of North and South Carolina. Our scope
of services for MMR (Mask-Mounted Regulators), BMR (Belt-Mounted Regulators), High-Pressure,
and Low-Pressure breathing apparatus include, but are not limited to:
- General cleaning & inspection in accordance with OSHA, NFPA, and ANSI standards
- Leak-testing
- Audi-Larm disassembly and repair
- Hose, guage, and strap inspection, testing, and/or replacement
- Air Cylinder Inspection & Hydro-Testing
- Regulator (First & Second Stage) disassembly and repair
- Cylinder valve disassembly and repair
- Facepiece disassembly and repair
- Annual performance/flow testing with authorized MSA regulator tester
We keep an extensive inventory of parts and accessories allowing us to provide quick
turn-around of repairs and get your breathing apparatus back in service as soon as
possible.
